Practise interview
questions with a partner. Create situations and
characters to cover different types of questioning
and styles of interview.
Remember that as an interviewer, it is important
to ask ‘open’ questions, which require
the interviewee to give a detailed answer, rather
than ‘closed’ questions, which can
be simply answered with a yes or no.
For example: open question:
‘Tell me about the subjects you chose to
study?’, closed question: ‘Do
you consider yourself good at sport?’
